The mix of round freshwater pearls with the irregular Keshi ones gives this necklace such an organic, modern feel. It drapes beautifully and the gold vermeil clasp is sturdy, too.

I wasn’t sure how the Keshi pearls would look in person, but they have this lovely irregular gloss that catches the light in an unexpected way. The necklace sits really nicely at my collarbone and works just as well alone as layered with other pieces.

The three different pearl sizes mixed together look way more interesting than a plain strand, and the little irregular Keshi ones give it a nice organic feel. Wore it to dinner with a plain black top and got two compliments before the appetizers even came.
