I love how the heat shield stays cool to the touch even after snuffing out a candle, and the whole piece looks lovely just sitting on my shelf. It makes extinguishing candles feel more like a little ritual.

The handle has this sculptural curve that makes it feel more like a small art piece than a tool, so it’s actually a nice thing to leave out on the shelf. It puts out candles cleanly without any smoke smell lingering, which is exactly what I wanted.

I was a little skeptical about spending extra on a snuffer instead of just blowing out candles, but now I get it. It stands on its own as a little sculpture on the shelf, and the heat shield actually makes it feel safe to use right after lighting.
